Martin Scorsese Robert De Niro get together again?

A new martin Scorsese / Robert De Niro mobster flick. Scorsese was in Berlin to promote his latest movie 'Shutter Island' together with his muse Leonardo DiCaprio.

Leonardo DiCaprio who also played a leading role in Scorsese's last movie 'The Departed'. But at the press launch in Berlin Martin Scorsese gave us a little more hope that he'll be working again with Robert De Niro.

QUOTE SCORSESE: ''You want more maffioso movies… I can't believe this.''

Scorsese's ninety's gangster movies Goodfellas and Casino starring Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci were immensely popular. People have been screaming for a follow up nearly as loud as they scream for Leonardo.

They desperately want to see Scorsese and De Niro together again. So at the press conference Scorsese was forced to answer questions on the matter.

QUOTE SCORSESE: ''There is a possibility that Bob De Niro and I are talking about something that has to do with that world. There is no doubt about that. We are working on something like that. But it's from the vantage point of 'older men looking back'.''

Let's not cheer to soon. We'll definitely keep our fingers crossed though for a Martin Scorsese Robert de Niro mob memoir.
