Lily Aims for the Stars

The New York Times said of her: “Daryl Sherman’s musical spirit belongs to an era when jazz singing was an expression of pure enjoyment”.

Lily Halim launched Lilys Jazz Club in the Opernpalais, Unter den Linden 5, in October last year and has since featured a wide variety of Berlin-based artists.
She said, “Daryl Sherman’s performances at the Waldorf Hotel in New York are famous throughout the World of Jazz. We want to create the same ambience here in Berlin”.
