American funny man, Eddie Murphy has announced, that he's planning to bring back the Klump family for a third 'Nutty Professor' installment. The actor has written something that might be kind of funny. If the movie will make it to the big screen, depends on whether the studios like the new idea.
If the third film does actually come to fruition, it would be released a decade after the second franchise, which appeared in 2000. The first 'Nutty Professor' flick was released in 1996. Both films earned over 120 million dollars each, worldwide.
For the film, Murphy took on seven roles, but for Eddie, that was no problem at all. (quote) 'The Nutty Professor’ is a remake of the 1963 Jerry Lewis classic. (quote) Right now, Eddie Murphy's role of ‘donkey’ can be seen in theaters in the animation film 'Shrek Forever After'. This will make it the fourth time, that he has lent his voice for the Shrek series. Staff Writer
